Snoring Solutions and Remedies
At times, the irony of life favors those that are actually causing life’s little problems. You’re the one snoring, but your partner is the one losing sleep. I can’t think of any other condition that lets the one with the problem pass the misery and suffering to someone else. That being the case, it’s only prudent for you to find a way to stop snoring. Perhaps there are some things that you can do that will eliminate your snoring and let your partner get some rest.
Train yourself to not sleep on your back. The muscles in your throat relax as you sleep causing an obstruction to your airway. Sleeping on your back only increases the obstruction.
Various snoring sprays have also been known to bring relief from snoring. Many of these sprays are designed to keep your throat muscles from relaxing too much and blocking your airway.
Another large factor in snoring is being overweight. Overweight prople have more fatty tissue in their throat, making the problem worse. You may find your snoring will go away with the extra weight, if you’ll lose it.
Be wary of taking cough or sinus medicine, drinking alcohol, or even smoking right before bed. These things can help to relax muscles and contribute to your snoring.
